Fatty
Acids -
the building blocks of fats,
important for a wide array of cell structure components and for many
establishing reactions in the body including hormonal and energy
activities. They also play a vital role in establishing a healthy lipid
barrier in the skin to block irritants and infections.
The
naturally balanced diet should contain these essential fatty acids in a
optimal ratio of 3:2 (Linoleic acid : alpha-Linolenic acid).

Alpha-Linolenic
Acid (Omega 3 Fatty Acid) – a
double unsaturated fatty acid with double bond, three carbon atoms from
the end of the long molecule. Two main components are (eicosapentaenoic
acid [EPA] and docosahexaenoic
acid [DHA]).

Acid (Omega 6 Fatty Acid)

Active Constituents: 107mL Omega 3 Linolenic acid, 426mL Omega 6 Linoleic
acid.
Directions for use: Mix
Ranvet Sprint Oil through the feed, or give directly into the dog's mouth. It is likely to take at least 4 to 6 weeks for a
dog to
become adapted to oil in the diet and it is recommended that you consult
your veterinary surgeon when introducing a high fat diet.
Dose rate:
a gradual increase in the oil content of the diet from 50ml to as high
as 10 percent of the diet can be achieved to increase the energy density
of the diet but the period of fat adaptation may be 4-6 weeks or greater.
Storage: Store in a dry place, below 30oC (room temperature).
Keep container tightly closed.
