Welcome to Ranvet’s EQUINET CLUB

An equine technical support network for horse owners in the pleasure and performance horse industry in Australia

There are over 300,000 horses used for recreational purposes in Australia each year and while the industry is overwhelmed with numerous equine feed companies, nutritional and veterinary support to horse owners is scarce.

Ranvet has developed a program designed to provide nutritional and veterinary support to horse owners across Australia, and all you need is a computer with internet access!

Once you have enrolled in the Ranvet Equinet program, our nutritionist will design a feeding regime specifically for your horse’s needs. Ranvet has a unique way of feeding: protein, vitamin and mineral supplements are added to a grain of your choice and complemented with chaff and hay when required. We have supplements for younger horses designed to develop muscle and topline, while others are cool and calming for the older horse. This method of feeding allows you to customize your horses ration specifically for his or her workload, and allows you to have greater control over the amount of energy and protein in the ration than you would normally or when using complete premix feeds. Because you are only adding small amounts of the supplements, there are often cost savings involved.

Once your diet has been designed, you will be automatically placed onto Equinet’s emailing list and will receive technical notes from our nutritionist and veterinarian on all aspects of horse health and nutrition.

We will welcome your emails and will be guided by what YOU want to know about. You will have on-hand nutritional and veterinary support, our veterinarian will not attempt to or be able to replace your current veterinarian but will be able to provide a supportive role where required. You will also receive notification of “specials” and once we have enough Equinet members in your local area, we will organize seminars and clinics which you will be welcome to attend.

Our aim is to provide a supportive nutritional and veterinary program for all horse owners. We will welcome any feedback and will always be striving to improve our service to you.
