workload, but does that mean they have the same requirements and can be
offered the same diet?
In short, the answer is no!
Every horse is an individual. If you are not able to feed the
recommended levels of your premix feed (have a look at the back of the
bag), there is a good chance your horses diet will be lacking in certain
nutrients.
The challenge is custom designing your horses ration to complement
his/her needs. This can be achieved by using a combination of feeds and
balanced with supplements if required.
